UX Intern | HRBot

My Experience

Working in a startup environment and being the only UX person at the company was a cherishing experience as could directly contribute to the company’s UX decisions. HRBot is a startup based in Gurugram, which provides Human Resource services to companies and also aims at automating the procedure of hiring eligible candidates. The company holds several applications for easing out the process of hiring and applying for jobs.

What I learned

This was the first time I had to design with strict constraints, as redesigning had to be done with the understanding of the backend code. Hence I was in constant communication with the developers regarding the same. Further, while curating an entirely new application(Recruiter’s Application), I had to keep in mind the various aspects of it and reiterate it, taking feedback from the users and suggestions from seniors at each level. This application was a completely new segment, and hence it was a great experience to work on it. Also, creating two landing pages from design to code helped me use my cs skills too. Moreover, interacting with other interns in other domains gave me some great connections for the future as well.
Besides, I got familiar with the android play store console and its features, got familiar with Lottie animations and their usage, material design components, and new developments in this area.
